Biodiesel Film Fundraisers Set for July
Joshua Tickell, creator of the "Veggie Van" and author of From the
Fryer to the Fuel Tank, recently completed Graduate Film School
for one purpose: to make an international documentary which chronicles
what some are calling "The Biodiesel Revolution." Tickell begins
filming with MTV's Missy Goldberg and National Geographic cameraman Scott
Simper in August. The Crew will travel to Europe to interview CJ Campbell
(author of The Coming Oil Crisis) as well as notable biodiesel experts. To
raise money for the film, Tickell and the "Fields of Fuel"
production crew are holding two mega-fundraising events - one in San Francisco
on Saturday July 26th and one in Salt Lake City on July 31st. These fundraising
events will be compilations of new short films, music and skits on the subject
of biodiesel as well as raffles for cool local gear and a forum for public
discussion with local city authorities on biodiesel. Tickell will present his
short film and his biodiesel slide show. Tickets $10 online or at the door
(each ticket counts as one raffle ticket!) For more info. including event
flyers and tickets, see http://www.veggievan.org or email Tickell@VeggieVan.org
