Any incentives to update the aging power grid should be tied into greater incentives for Independent Power Produsers (IPP) and renewable energy !

This is our chance to lobby and get public and government support for renewable energy (RE).

Well, the timing is right for renewable power. Many of the alternate energy company stocks are getting attention especially since the “Big Blackout”. We are making a major effort in writing letters to the news media and writing articles.

The customers are worried about how we will fund the updates to the power grid. How about a National Power Lottery?

We are seeking a new approach to the energy problems we experience in the United States, one that would not only promote a better power grid but one that would support distributed electric generation.

May I suggest one that:

Promotes cleaner air and less pollution and their associated costs

Encourages jobs and careers in small scale energy generation

Lessons the impact of terrorism to the grid

Allows us to be less dependent on foreign countries

Makes the power grid stronger by creating thousands of generating sites using clean sources

Supports individuals in all states to become more energy independent not only to conserve

Helps researchers and manufacturers to develop clean new electric systems

We need clean electric, generated and controlled in the United States. Supported by our local, state and federal governments. Electrical energy from solar, wind and water power plants of all sizes.

We are seeking the support of our representatives at all levels to push for small-scale energy development so that our economy doesn’t suffer through any more corruption or poor decisions by electrical company executives at the expense of users, localities, investors and the national economy.

We must gain a position where we never will have to send troops and our economy will never have to depend on cartels or foreign governments.

I was asked to repeat this: (here is an idea for LAWYERS)

Imagine what would happen to the Power Generation Industry if it were to be attacked like the tobacco, firearms. Tires and fast food industries. It certainly has had and is having a negative effect more widespread than tobacco and it is worse than the food industry which is giving us a wider beltline. What happens when the lawyers start to sue over the health effects of fossil fuels on the human species? Science has proven that we have been polluting water, air, oceans, plants and now ourselves by using fossil fuels to supply our electric. The Renewable Energy field would be forced to grow at a rate that would be unbelievable even when compared to the computer era.

Humans certainly need electric, we have been given the tools to produce global electric using renewable resources but have not given it the attention that it deserves. Meanwhile every power outage makes us more determine to become independent. People rush out to buy generators, if they can afford them, to ensure that the convenience of electric and the safety is always available to them.

We are the greatest world power in history yet our economy and military depends on energy from foreign countries.

AGAIN:

The difference with our group is that we are promoting and encouraging energy independence using clean renewable sources and promoting jobs and incentives for the creation of Energy Farms. We will also cover becoming independent and how best to run it as a small business thus it is not just to support your personal energy needs but for an income-producing career.

• We will be asking people to write letters to their representatives to push for this goal by supporting legislation that promote Renewable Energy.
• We are asking the government to attack the issue of energy independence the same way we pushed the Apollo Program which landed a man on the moon and we will ask people to get behind the issue with the same enthusiasm that fans show for sporting events and for Hollywood and TV movies.
• We will encourage colleges to create a curriculum to show people a new career alternative, that of generating electric and selling it to the utilities.
• We will push for a standard acceptable contract for independent power producers and the utilities so that the additional legal costs can be avoided.
• We will also seek reasonable environmental controls. We are the stewards of our planet and we need to maintain it so that future generations can enjoy it in safety.
• Backing would come from a Small Business Administration (SBA) loan guarantee with up to $500,000. The idea is to create a small business opportunity for individuals and families as a home based business.
• Being energy independent should avoid future wars over oil and lost lives while benefiting the standard of living for people worldwide.

Design Challenge

We are promoting companies to send in their best designs for a small Energy Farm in the $200,000 to $500,000 range. If we can put together a site that generates a good income and a sustainable career for people we can replicate it across the country and create jobs for thousands of people. • We are now also looking for people/groups to send in state reports.
• We are now publishing every other week so we are looking for sponsors to help us publish on this schedule and to become a non-profit organization promoting mid-scale energy generation and energy independence.
• Some subscribers to the Newsletter are from other countries, involved with the environment and would like to help their countrymen become independent and build their own family energy farm.
