As we have written about in the past, we should be showing greater concern in pollution in humans. I would like to draw your attention to a site that explores pollution in the human body, www.bodyburden.org and at the same time a scientist is reporting a link to Alzheimer’s of having a buildup of zinc and copper in the body. Although many scientist disagree there was the same opposition for the medical doctor who first associated bacteria with hernias.

The major source of pollution is the fossil fuels and associated energy industry companies so it is critical that we change as soon as we can.  We need not only to help the USA become energy independent but also the third world.  Becoming energy independent by promoting renewable energy development will raise the standard and quality of living for the whole world.

The question is why do citizens continue to accept the costs.  The costs to involve environmental cleanups, increased taxes, along with health costs and deaths.

The legal industry needs to attack these polluters as they did the tobacco industry. Imagine what that would do to further support renewable energy development.

Rather than passing out billions of dollars from the tobacco windfall for items that would only support a few we need to use those funds to help the wider audience. We need those funds to support a cleaner environment by supporting renewable energy development.
